Is GrantWatch a government agency?
GrantWatch is an independent private directory and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any government agency. It is a private company that publishes a searchable index of funding opportunities. It has no role in awarding any grant listed on it, and no application is submitted through it. Every application goes to the funder, on the funder's own system.
Do you give grants out to unemployed or people with bad credit?
GrantWatch is a grant listing directory - we are not the funding source. Therefore, we do not approve applications, award grants, or give money.
GrantWatch does not award grants. We list currently available grants and make them available to you through a subscription website. We add new grants daily.
Why does GrantWatch charge a fee?
Grants themselves are free to apply for via official government portals; GrantWatch charges solely for search database features.
We provide a service, saving you endless hours of research, time, and stress! You can search for grants on your own for free, but many organizations prefer to pay for the convenience of having them all in one place! We specialize in listing grants from foundations that aren't publicly available.
How do I know the listings are not just scraped?
Our research team verifies and adds new grants to the website five days a week. Daily Database Updates: New grant opportunities are researched, verified, categorized, and added to the platform on a daily basis.
The useful test is not whether a company says it verifies. It is whether you can check. Where a funder publishes a citable source, the listing carries a link to that source and the date the check was made, so you can open the funder's own page and compare. Where no such source exists, the listing says so plainly instead of implying a check that cannot be shown.
What is the success rate of GrantWatch users?
We are a grant search engine and listing directory, and therefore, we do not have access to this information. Once a customer clicks on any grant of interest, they are directed to the grant funder's site to complete and submit their application.
That is the whole answer. No page on this site claims a success rate, an average award, or a share of subscribers who receive funding, because the company does not hold that data and an unsubstantiated figure would be worse than none.
How do I cancel?

What should I watch out for in grant scams generally?
Please be wary of online or phone scammers who promise to give you a grant in exchange for money. Grants do not cost money and there are no fees or taxes on a grant to be paid in advance.

GrantWatch does not give grants or distribute direct cash funding. Never pay an imposter who asks you to pre-pay money for a guaranteed grant or promises money-back for a grant or check.
