# GrantWatch vs Candid

Every GrantWatch answer below is a published fact from GrantWatch's own record. Nothing about Candid is quoted here at all, because a competitor price copied into a table goes stale and a stale price in a comparison is misleading. Their current terms are on their own page, linked once, below.

GrantWatch publishes one price list, and it is the same list for everybody: $22 a week, $49 a month, $100 a quarter, or $249 a year.

Yes. All MemberPlus+ subscriptions include access to the complete Grant Lifecycle Platform. Token allocations vary by plan. See the full price list .

Candid’s side of this comparison is deliberately not printed here. Read their current pricing, seat terms and coverage on their own page and hold it against the answers below. Open Candid’s own current page

Roughly 70% of our directory comprises of grants from private foundations, public foundations, corporations and charities. The remaining 30% of grants found are from local, state, and federal government funding sources.

## When is GrantWatch the wrong tool?

Three cases, and they are worth knowing before you pay for anything.

- If you apply only for federal opportunities, Grants.gov is the government's own free portal and nothing here is required to use it. Grants themselves are free to apply for via official government portals; GrantWatch charges solely for search database features.

- If you need a tool that reports your own award rate back to you, GrantWatch does not hold that data. Its published answer to the success-rate question says so directly. Read the answer .

## How many hours of searching is this replacing?

Your numbers, your arithmetic, printed so you can check it. Hours only.

0 hours of searching per month, on your own numbers
